A lovely pair of vintage Yves Saint Laurent heart-shaped clip on silver earrings.
Crafted in sterling silver and set with cornflower blue poured resin cabochon.
Beautifully crafted and in very good vintage condition commensurate with their age, 1990s.
Marked YSL and 925 for sterling silver.

The heart has been the emblem of the House of Saint Laurent since the 1960s. Yves St. Laurent is quoted as saying 'without an elegance of the heart, there is no elegance' and each season a heart was placed on his favourite model on the runway; thus the heart became a symbol of the house, seen across heritage and contemporary design.
Dimensions: 1.7 x 1.7 cm at widest point.
