Christian Dior Vintage Pearl, Crystal, and Black Enamel Necklace | Late 1970s/Early 1980s
A stunning vintage gold-plated pearl choker necklace by Christian Dior.
The triple-strand design features luminous faux pearls, accented with crystal-set rondels and a centrepiece set with a faux mabe pearl, framed by shimmering crystals and fine black enamel. If you look closely, you will notice some light peeling to the pearl at the front, which only adds to the unique character and vintage beauty of the piece. The back of the necklace is equally striking, with crystal-encrusted gold fittings and a signature Dior charm at end of extender chain, adding an extra touch of elegance.
Signed Chr. Dior © to the clasp.
Beautifully crafted and presented in very good condition.

Christian Dior's reputation as one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century was launched in 1947 with his collection, the 'New Look' celebrating ultra-femininity and opulence in women's fashion. He launched his first collection of fashion jewellery to complement his garments in 1948 and hired some of the talented jewellery designers of the time to design collections, such as Kramer, Henkel and Grossé designers who were all active during the 1950s. Vintage Christian Dior jewellery is very collectable today.
