Enter the whimsical world of Kirks Folly with this vintage Snowman brooch.

The gold tone brooch has a lustre enamel finish and the snowman wears a golden hat banded with pink to match the scarf. With shiny black enamel buttons and eyes, a smiley mouth with a gold pipe and decorated with green lustre ivy leaves.

Dimensions: H: x 6.5  W: 4.5 at widest point.

Signed Kirks Folly in a plaque on reverse side.  Dates circa 1980s.

Fitted with secure rollover clasp and in very good vintage condition..

Founded in New York in 1979 by a brother and three sisters, Kirks Folly enjoyed instant success when they secured a front page feature in the New York Times in 1980. Their jewellery is fantastical, playful and whimsical.  The company ceased production in 2014 and their jewellery has become very collectable and sought after today.
