This is a lovely vintage brooch in Cornflower design, signed Exquisite. 

Part of Exquisite's 'Flowers' Birthday series, this brooch represents the month of September. The series features twelve beautifully crafted floral designs - one for each month of the year. While the cornflower symbolises September, its vibrant blue petals and timeless elegance make it a charming piece for any one who loves flowers, or a vintage jewellery aficionado.

Crafted in gold-tone metal, it features enamelled blue cornflowers, green leaves, bronze buds, and delicate blue flower tips.

Finished with a secure rollover clasp.

Signed Exquisite on reverse of brooch.

In good vintage condition consistent with its age, late 1950s/1960s.

Dimensions: 6.7 cm x 5 cm at widest point. (approx 2.5 x 2 inches)

Exquisite Jewellery was founded in 1914 in Solihull and produced jewellery until the late 1970s. They were known for their high-quality, hand-finished cold enamel pieces, including the twelve-piece Flower Series (one for each month) and the Leaf Series, a collection of twelve foliate designs.
