A vintage Wedgwood amber glass bird paperweight/art ornament in the form of a small bird. The base of the bird is etched with the Wedgwood stamp.
The bird, which is robin or wren-like, is in excellent condition and comes in its original box, complete with Wedgwood leaflet.
Designed by Ronald Stennett-Willson, pattern number RSW70. Ronald Stennett-Willson was a talented and prolific producer of art glass. He founded King's Lynn Glass in 1967 and two years later his company was acquired by Wedgwood.
The bird dates from the 1970s.
