Vintage Butler & Wilson Ruby-Red and Amber Crystal Spider Brooch, 1980s

Product Information

A beautiful mini spider lapel brooch from the 1980s.


The spider's body is set with a deep ruby red cabochon abdomen, an amber-topaz crystal thorax and ruby-red cabochon crystal eyes, all framed by shimmering multi-colour Aurora Borealis (AB) set in legs that capture the light beautifully.

The brooch has a smooth black coating and  bears the early B & W signature in circular cartouche on the reverse. It closes with a secure butterfly clutch back.

It is in excellent vintage condition - possibly unworn or gently worn.

Dimensions: approximately 3 cm x 3 cm | 1.2" x 1.2"


Created in 1969, Butler & Wilson began selling antique jewellery in the Antiquarius market, Chelsea and has come to define bold, glamorous crystal costume jewellery.
