This is a fabulous Butler & Wilson collector's piece. 

In 1994 Butler & Wilson were commissioned to design a collection of jewellery for Buckingham Palace when it first opened to the public, as well as a collection for the Tower of London.

This stunning large brooch featured in the collection; it is crafted in alternating polished and textured gold metal with sections set with vibrant red Swarovski crystals.  The centre of the brooch features the Prince of Wales feathers, encircled with black enamel and overseen by a golden dog. It features in the Butler & Wilson 40th anniversary book.

A piece of costume jewellery history, this large jewel is a real showstopper. Like all Butler & Wilson jewellery, it is as beautifully finished on the back as it is on the front and is in excellent condition.

Marked Butler & Wilson in a plaque on reverse side. Fitted with pin and revolver clasp.
