A Vintage Lalique Double Swan Ring Dish

A Vintage Deux Cygnes Lalique pin/ring dish featuring a pair of swans sculpture in frosted crystal.

The base of the dish is engraved Lalique France.

The base of the dish measures 9.6 cm (3¾") in diameter. The height is 9 cm (3.½").

The dish is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and only minimal wear to the base.

Swans are known as a symbol for love,  because they are faithful to only one mate during their lifetime. 

Famous glassmaker and jeweller René Lalique founded his eponymous company in 1888.  Best known for producing glass art - perfume bottles, car hood ornaments, vases - Lalique items are eminently collectable today, with Lalique crystal being the ultimate symbol of French luxury.
