A showstopping vintage cockerel brooch dating from the 1980s/90s, unsigned but beautifully crafted. The body has intricate engraved feather detailing and is scattered with deep amethyst and purple faceted rhinestones. The dramatic swept tail and comb are finished in rich magenta glitter enamel, while the legs and beak gleam in contrasting warm gold-tone metal.
A bold, characterful piece that would sit perfectly on a lapel, scarf or coat. In excellent vintage condition.
