A  boxed late 19th century 9ct gold horseshoe stick pin of small proportions, set with rubies and seed pearls.  Dates from late 1880-1890s.

Stick Pin Length 1.5cm  Horseshoe: 10mm long x 8mm wide

 

This is an antique piece and one-of-a-kind, so once it is gone, it is gone!

Stick pins became popular during early Victorian time and were originally used to secure the cravats, scarves and blouses of Victorian gentlefolk.
