A lovely pair of vintage gold plated large triangular love knot clip earrings designed by Christian Dior.
The earrings date from the 1980s and are still on their card. They are in very good, probably unworn condition.
Signed Chr. Dior with copyright symbol on reverse.

Christian Dior's reputation as one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century was launched in 1947 with his collection, the 'New Look' celebrating ultra-femininity and opulence in women's fashion. He launched his first collection of fashion jewellery to complement his garments in 1948 and hired some of the talented jewellery designers of the time to design collections, such as Kramer, Henkel and Grossé designers. Christian Dior jewellery is very collectable today.
