Make a statement with this fabulous pear brooch by US-born designer Suzanne Bjontegard.
The gold tone brooch is encrusted with sparkling aurora borealis crystals in delicious shades of green.
With tack pin style closure (see image), this brooch sits beautifully on a lapel.
Dimensions: H 3cm / 1.25 inches W 2 cm / 0.75 inches approximately at widest points.
The brooch dates from the 1990s and is signed SB. It is in very good condition with no stones missing and no visible signs of wear.
Please note this is a vintage brooch and there is only one available.
Suzanne Bjontegard set up Bjontegard Trading Company, in the mid 1990s; she is also known as Suzi B. She is well know for her high quality creative costume jewellery, many of her styles featuring luscious fruits. She launched a chain of boutiques in California and some of her designs feature in a book by Ann Pitman, Inside the Jewelry Box Vol. 2.
