A spectacular vintage large spider brooch designed by Butler & Wilson.

This is an important piece of costume jewellery history, dating from the 1980s. This iconic spider is of very large proportions and is dangerously glamorous!  The brooch is a real showstopper and refracts the light beautifully - it will make a statement on any outfit.

Beautifully crafted and in excellent condition with tear drop, oval, round and baguette crystals in claw settings.

This spider brooch features in the Butler & Wilson book and comes complete with its original Butler & Wilson black presentation box and tissue paper, a wonderful survival after forty years.

Marked B & W in circular plaque on reverse side. Fitted with secure rollover clasp and in excellent condition.
