A very pretty and delicate 'Aurora Borealis' bracelet dating from the late 1950/1960s.
The crystals are set into white metal and catch the light beautifully, reflecting soft pinks and soft blues in different lights.
Beautifully made and in very good vintage condition.

Swarovski perfected the process to simulate the effect of the Northern Lights - the celestial Aurora Borealis - in jewellery in the mid 1950s, after experimenting with rhinestone coatings to produce a lustrous aurora borealis coating on crystals to make them more radiant and full of colour.
