A lovely Helena Rubenstein double-strand pearl lariat necklace.

Featuring lustrous cream-coloured faux pearls converging at a gold-plated crystal-set clasp with Art Deco-inspired detailing. Four cascading faux pearl strands create a beautiful waterfall effect, each finished with a  statement pearl drop.

Beautifully crafted and as beautifully finished on the reverse, with a floral clasp featuring intricate petal detailing and a central faux pearl. 

In excellent vintage condition, with minor wear to the statement pearls at the ends of the dangles.

Helena Rubinstein was a visionary cosmetics entrepreneur who founded Helena Rubinstein Incorporated and became one of the world's richest women. She was a legendary collector with exquisite taste in jewellery and her collection was sold at auction in New York in the 1990s. Her collection included magnificent pieces from prestigious houses including Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, with a particular love for Art Deco masterpieces that reflected her bold, modern sensibility and appreciation for exceptional craftsmanship.
