A delightful and highly collectible Butler & Wilson brooch featuring two nodding dogs, one in silver-tone and the other in gold-tone, each with charming expressions and black eyes and noses. Their heads move via the clever mechanism on the reverse (see images).
This rare design is featured in Vivienne Becker’s 1990 book Rough Diamonds and bears the early B&W signature on the back of the brooch.
Fitted with a secure rollover clasp, presented in its original Butler & Wilson box, and in excellent condition.
