A magnificent example of mid-century American costume jewellery, this Crown Trifari brooch is a timeless botanical statement piece.

Probably designed by the esteemed head designer, Alfred Philippe, the brooch captures the vibrant essence of spring with its luxurious two tone yellow and lemon enamel and polished gold-tone finish.

This exquisite pin features Trifari’s signature three-dimensional, layered construction, meticulously crafted to resemble a blooming daffodil. The petals are finished in a glossy yellow enamel, set against a structured, gold-tone base made from Trifari's patented "Trifanium" alloy. The rear of the brooch features the iconic "Crown Trifari" mark, placing its creation in the mid 1950s - 1960s era.

 A classic roll-over safety clasp ensures secure wear.

In very good vintage condition with only very minimal wear to the enamel commensurate with age.

Trifari is one of the most sought-after and collectable vintage jewellery brands of the 20th century.  Trifari was created by Gustavo Trifari in 1925 and many of its designers were trained at Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, including Alfred Philippe, who was Trifari's head designer from1930 until 1968.  Trifari jewellery is celebrated for its high quality vintage costume designs and craftmanship.  Jewellery marked Crown Trifari (dating from the late 1930s until 1969) is some of the most desirable.
