A rare and very beautiful grasshopper / cricket  brooch, a 1980s replica of a brooch worn by Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. Crafted in gold-tone metal and pavé-set with clear and soft-green crystals with red cabochon eye.

Part of the JBK collection by Camrose & Kross, the brooch pays tribute to First Lady Jackie Kennedy’s legendary style. A true fashion icon, she effortlessly blended fine and costume jewelry, favouring designers like Tiffany and Kenneth Jay Lane. The JBK collection, launched in 1986, immortalized pieces from her renowned jewelry collection.  Jackie Kennedy wore this grasshopper pin on dresses, jackets and coats.

In excellent condition with secure rollover clasp, the brooch dates from the 1980s and is signed JBK (for Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy).
