A beautiful Michaela Frey 24 karat gold plated hand enamelled geometric bangle in shades of gold, blue, white and black.
Stamped MICHAELA FREY, Made in Austria.
In very good condition, with some very small marks - you need to look closely to see.

Michaela Frey founded her eponymous company in 1951 in Austria; a talented artist, she graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna. She perfected the technique of enamel infused with 24 carat gold and ran her workshop dedicated to enamel jewellery and objets d'art. After her death in 1980 the company was acquired by Dr Friedrich Wille and became known as FREYWILLE. Under the new designer, new shapes and artistry appeared, most notably the Avantgarde collection featuring geometric shapes and brightly coloured enamels. Until 2010 FREYWILLE produced the enamel jewellery for Hermes.
