Product Information
A beautiful vintage Christian Dior triple row necklace dating from the heyday of the House of Dior, late1950s/early 1960s.
Crafted with deep purple amethysts, lilac amethysts, clear/grey crystals and real pearls.
The necklace fastens with an 'S' hook, typical of Dior jewellery of this period. The oval cartouche is stamped Christian Dior ©, indicating that the necklace was made between 1958 and 1964.
Length: 41 cm - 45 cm | 16 inches - 18 inches with extender chain.
The condition is consistent with wear and use. Some of the pearls are worn, but this does not detract from the overall beauty of the necklace.
The necklace comes in its original box with Christian Dior silk pad, both of which are worn consistent with age.
Please note: this is a vintage necklace and there is only one available.
Christian Dior (1905–1957) was one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century. In 1947, Dior launched his revolutionary New Look collection, celebrating ultra-femininity and glamour, perfectly capturing the spirit of post-war society. The following year, he introduced his first line of fashion jewellery to complement his couture designs.
Today, vintage Christian Dior jewellery is highly sought after. Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and timeless elegance, 1950s and 1960s Dior pieces exemplify the golden age of mid-century design and are increasingly prized by collectors. Jewellery from the late 1960s through the 1970s also continues to rise in value, reflecting Dior’s enduring influence and distinctive aesthetic.
