A stunning silver-tone Butler & Wilson circus elephant brooch, entirely encrusted in shimmering Aurora Borealis (AB) crystals in a mix of sizes, from pavé-set stones to large statement chatons. The  elephant balances his front foot on a large crystal ball and stands on a baguette-set crystal bar, with a further oversized crystal orb crowning his head.

Signed Butler & Wilson in crown cartouche on the reverse.

In excellent condition with a tight, secure revolver pin clasp.

Comes complete with branded Butler & Wilson box.

Created in 1969, Butler & Wilson began by selling antique jewellery in London’s Antiquarius market. Over the decades, they have become renowned for bold, glamorous costume pieces. This brooch comes from the collection of a lady who has been devoted to Butler & Wilson since 1978. The piece itself is fairly recent, from the past few years
