Vintage Avon Pastel Crystal Link Gold-tone Bracelet, 1980s

Product Information

A very pretty bracelet from the 1980s.

Featuring faceted round bezel-set stones in soft pastel shades - pink, aqua blue, and lemon yellow - and set in gold-tone links with a lobster clasp.

A classic piece of wearable vintage costume jewellery, perfect for layering or wearing solo.

In excellent vintage condition.

Signed Avon on the tag.

Length: 22cm | 8.75 inches - the bracelet is adjustable and can be fastened on any of the links, allowing it to fit a range of wrist sizes. It can also be worn slightly looser, with a small section of the chain and stones extending gracefully for a more relaxed, draped look.

Avon, originally founded in 1886 as the California Perfume Company, first introduced occasional items of jewellery during the 1960s, but expanded fully into costume jewellery production in 1971. The company introduced jewellery as a complementary product to its popular beauty and fragrance lines, offering high-quality, affordable pieces through its direct-selling model. Avon jewellery quickly gained popularity for its stylish, often vintage-inspired designs, which included gemstone accents, and collectible themed collections. Over the years, Avon collaborated with renowned designers such as Kenneth Jay Lane and Trifari, creating limited-edition items that remain sought after by collectors today.
