Vintage Christian Dior Gold-Plated Long Statement Chain Necklace

This is an absolutely gorgeous vintage Christian Dior long chain necklace.

The intricate 18ct yellow gold-plated couture chain is crafted with  stylized figure-of-eight links featuring polished bars over the centre with each link joined by a textured rope-twist segment.

A rare find from the House of Dior.  This vintage 1980s chain showcases exceptional craftsmanship and the thick layer of gold-plating retains a rich, buttery-gold depth, catching the light beautifully.

Measuring a versatile 62 cm - opera length - this substantial piece sits elegantly at the chest.

Closes with lobster clasp. Stamped 'Chr.Dior©' on one side of the clasp and 'GERMANY' on the reverse.

Crafted in Germany by Henkel & Grosse for Christian Dior in the 1980s/early 1990s.

The necklace is is excellent vintage condition with rich, bright gold plating.

Christian Dior (1905-1957) was one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century.
