Christian Dior(1905-1957) was one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century. In 1947 Dior launched the 'New Look' collection celebrating ultra-femininity and glamour, perfectly capturing the mood of post-war society. The following year, Dior launched his first collection of fashion jewellery to complement his clothing.
