A lovely pair of vintage gold-plated clip earrings designed by Christian Dior.  

Beautifully sculpted in openwork design and signed Chr. Dior © on the ear clips.

Dimensions: 2.3 cm x 2 cm | 0.9" x 0.8" at widest point.

The gold plating on the front is in excellent condition, bright and polished. There is some vintage patina and some loss of gold plating on the reverse, at the very bottom of the clips, which can not be seen when worn.

Christian Dior (1905–1957) was one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century. In 1947, Dior launched his revolutionary New Look collection, celebrating ultra-femininity and glamour, perfectly capturing the spirit of post-war society. The following year, he introduced his first line of fashion jewellery to complement his couture designs.
