Vintage Sarah Coventry Gold-Plated "Allusion" Flower Brooch, 1968

Product Information

Make a brilliant mid-century statement with this striking vintage Sarah Coventry "Allusion" brooch.

Beautifully designed to mirror a flower in full bloom, this large-scale piece features an openwork arrangement of beautifully sculpted, textured, gold-plated wire petals.

At its heart sits a stunning, tightly clustered dome of glistening aurora borealis crystals that catch and refract the light into an array of iridescent pastel tones. Complete with its original stylised long stem, this highly dimensional, sculptural pin sits beautifully on a coat lapel, scarf, blazer or dress.

The 'Allusion' design is celebrated among mid-century costume jewellery enthusiasts for its exceptional 3D construction and sculptural depth.

The brooch closes with a secure rollover clasp. It is in excellent vintage condition with its beautifully preserved gold plating and bright aurora borealis crystals.

Signed 'Sarah Cov' on the reverse.
