Product Information

A timeless statement piece from Butler & Wilson.

This articulated snake brooch flows in a sinuous, serpent-like curve and is fully embellished with brilliant crystals. Its elegant movement and sparkle make it perfect for elevating coats, blazers, dresses, or eveningwear.

Part of a Butler & Wilson vintage collection with fewer than 50 pieces re-issued, this design was first created in the 1980s. Butler & Wilson originally produced a snake collection for Armani during that decade before launching their own now-celebrated serpent designs - a variation of this one was famously worn by Princess Diana which features in Vivienne Becker's book, Rough Diamonds.

Dimensions: 17.5 cm x 2.3 cm | 7 inches x 0.9 inches

Marked Butler & Wilson in a plaque on reverse side. Fitted with two secure rollover clasps and in excellent condition.

Supplied in Butler & Wilson box.

Please note there is only one brooch available.

Created in 1969, Butler & Wilson began selling antique jewellery in the Antiquarius market, Chelsea and has come to define bold, glamorous crystal costume jewellery. British Vogue says that their ability to change with the times and fashion throughout the years has made Butler and Wilson 'Costume royalty'.
