A vintage Wedgwood horsehead cameo necklace.

The vintage Wedgwood horse head pendant is gold-plated and set on a black basalt background with gold plated rim.  

The cameo dates from the 1970s and is in excellent condition in its original box, complete with Wedgwood leaflet.

The 18" gold-plated chain is new.

Wedgwood cameos were made in the Stoke-on Trent pottery during the 1950s-1980s; the pottery is now a museum owned by the Victoria and Albert Museum.
