The brooch is in good vintage condition. All crystals are intact and the clasp functions securely. The gold-plating shows some surface marks and age-related patina consistent with its 1960s origin. These are visible in photos but do not detract from the piece’s beauty or wearability. The price has been adjusted accordingly.
Please note this is a vintage piece and there is only one available.
Christian Dior (1905–1957) was one of the most celebrated couturiers of the 20th century. In 1947, Dior launched his revolutionary New Look collection, celebrating ultra-femininity and glamour, perfectly capturing the spirit of post-war society. The following year, he introduced his first line of fashion jewellery to complement his couture designs.
Today, vintage Christian Dior jewellery is highly sought after. Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and timeless elegance, 1950s and 1960s Dior pieces exemplify the golden age of mid-century design and are increasingly prized by collectors. Jewellery from the late 1960s through the 1970s also continues to rise in value, reflecting Dior’s enduring influence and distinctive aesthetic.
