Add a touch of vintage elegance with this beautifully crafted large dragonfly brooch, released as part of the Joan Rivers Classics Collection 15th Anniversary "XV" series.

This Art Nouveau-inspired design is crafted in bronze-tone metal. The muted celadon enamel wings and tail feature a mosaic-textured finish and are set with Aurora Borealis (AB) crystals and amber-toned crystals that shimmer with every movement. The body is adorned with a large, luminous glass opal cabochon set at the heart of the design.

Marked Joan Rivers Classics Collection XV on the back of the brooch.

The secure rollover clasp is in perfect working order.

In very good vintage condition.

Comedy doyenne Joan Rivers adored jewellery. 'She loved to shop for it, wear it and design it'.  Many of her designs were inspired by her personal fine jewellery collection, especially Fabergé jewellery. Joan said: 'I collect jewelry with an intensity usually reserved for fine art collectors. And why not? Jewelry is art'. She launched her first jewellery collection, Joan Rivers Classics Collection, in 1990. Her jewellery is known for its vintage-inspired designs, intricate detailing and high-quality craftsmanship.  This brooch was introduced as a collector's piece for the 15th Anniversary Joan Rivers Classic Collection.
